Chandigarh July 21:- The Education Department, U.T., Chandigarh has
invited applications for reserve as well as general category candidates
for change of school/stream and for fresh candidates few vacant seat in
reserve as well as general category. On the pattern of centralized
admission to XI(2006-07) as was done in the first phase of counseling,
applications for Reserve as well as General category candidates for change
of school/stream (on plain paper) and on prescribed form for fresh
candidates complete in all respects as per guidelines laid down in
prospectus 2006-07 of Education Deptt., U.T. Chandigarh can be submitted
on or before 25.7.2006 upto 1.00 P.M. in GMSSS-23, Chandigarh against a
few vacant seats in reserve as well as general category in almost all
Govt. Sr. Sec.Schools.

--- The Forms/Prospectus will be available in GMSSS-23, Chandigarh w.e.f.
22.7.2006 from 8.30 A.M. to 1.30 P.M. on all working days.

--- Merit list of these applicants, counseling schedule and other details
will be put up on the Notice Board of GMSSS-23 on 27.7 .2006(Thursday).

--- Counseling date will be 28.7.2006

28.7.2006 Reserve 8.15 A.M

28.7.2006 General 10.15 A.M.

--- Seats will be offered to candidates purely in order of merit displayed
keeping in view the cut off percentage fixed in the 1st phase of
counseling in respect of the school where the applicant desires to go.

--- Original documents and Fee receipts already issued should be brought
on the day of counseling.

--- All rules and regulations will be as per prospectus for Govt. Sr Sec.
Schools, 2006-07.
