Chandigarh, September 15:- Chandigarh Administration has decided Mr. Vivek Atray , Director Public Relations Department will be the Principal
Spokesman. The Principal Spokesman will be authorized to speak on behalf of the Chandigarh Administration. This will also help in better
coordination with the Departments and the media on important matters .When
Director Public Relations is unavailable then Public Relations Officers
Mr. Vineet Punia and Mr. Rupesh Kumar will act as Spokesman.

Chandigarh September 15: CITCO will undertake skill up-gradation and training all staff. This decision was taken at the meeting held today of
Board of Directors of CITCO under the Chairmanship of Home Secretary Shri Krishna Mohan.
The meeting decided that CITCO would continue its initiative to up-grade infra-structure/facilitie s in its Hotels. In this direction, CITCO has
entered into an agreement with M/s. Avenues, South Asias largest integrated e.commerce company as a hospitality marketing and reservation
provider to provide a single window access for online bookings of Hotels -Hotel Mountview, Hotel Shivalikview and Hotel Parkview through CITCOs

guests and patrons,added MD CITCO Shri J.S. Bir. New posts have been created to manage CITCO Da Verah at Baithak, Kalagram in a better manner,
which has become quite popular for its Punjabi ethnic ambience and food.The Board also appreciated all round efforts made by CITCO to improve its
operational parameters in the hotels as well in other units. Despite difficult market conditions and competition in all sectors especially in
the Steel Trade still the corporation profit before depreciation and income tax is encouraging and is Rs.558 lacs for first five months of the
current financial year. Hotel Mountview has notched a turnover of nearly Rs.800lacs and Hotel Shivalikview increased its turnover to Rs.500lacs.
Hotel Parkview has done well with a turnover of more than Rs.150 lacs and Chef Lake Cafeteria has still performed better with a turnover of Rs.161
lacs. All other units are also doing well.
